about

''With the company of the Keeper and above all his tolerance, a stranger starts tasting the absence of time and learning the ways and traditions of the unknown peoples...''
A collection of hybrid ambient/ethnic tracks made to accompany the stories of the keeper, written by my good friend Vangjel in his Mother language (Greek) for his fabulous blog: rakontokulpo.blogspot.com.
Each track has a story to tell and all of them are part of a larger saga that is still unveiling today (depending on the writer's mood and personal devils of course).
The whole album was recorded, mixed and mastered with a ''DIY'' philosophy in my home studio in Bratislava, Slovakia and some percussion and guitar recordings took part in Agrinion, Greece.
I tried to project every picture and detail to the musical canvas, just like a director who turns a book into a motion picture.Nevertheless I believe that this work stands on its own, independent of the inspirational text.Through the obscure and lost worlds of ''the Keeper'' I learned how to explore and combine ethnic and traditional styles from across the world with the endless possibilities of electronic music and synthesized soundscapes...In this fantastic journey Chris Guru kept me company, playing electric guitar in some tracks and helping with loops and ideas in others.
I hope that you enjoy this project as much as we did.And never forget...The adventure continues...
